Job summary

RBC Dominion Securities in Canada’s financial hub Toronto is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Wealth Management team. You will coordinate meetings, support the Investment Advisor, and help deepen client relationships with a client-first approach.

Qualifications

• Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE.
• University degree.
• A self-directed individual with a growth and goals-oriented mindset.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• 4+ years of professional experience within investment industry (nice-to-have).
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills (nice-to-have).
• Highly-developed client service skills (nice-to-have).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings and events for the Investment Advisor with clients and prospects; prepare documentation and follow-up.
• Provide proactive client service with problem-resolution focus and liaise with departments for execution.
• Respond to client account inquiries and ensure follow-up.
• Help build business plans, client segmentation, and client service plans.
• Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals among existing clients.
• Deepen relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) through ongoing management.
• Conduct ongoing market and investment research and provide updates to the advisory team.
• Support Wealth Management processes and coordinate with specialists to track progress.

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our team.

What will you do?

• Coordinate meetings and events for the Investment Advisor with clients and prospects: help determine agenda and key topics, prepare documentation, execute post-meeting work. Attend client meetings when required.
• Provide proactive client service with a problem-resolution focus and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.
• Respond to client account inquiries and remain accountable to follow-up, as required.
• Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation, and client service plans.
• Identify and execute opportunities among existing client base for asset consolidation, referrals, etc.
• Deepen existing relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) through ongoing management.
• Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments, provide regular updates to the advisory team.
• Support advisory team and client through the Wealth Management process. Help gather relevant information, coordinate activities with Wealth Management specialists, track progress and follow up.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$37,500.00 - $50,000.00

This position includes competitive-based pay, and the overall earning potential is impacted by a variable incentive structure, earning a multiple of salary up to:
