Job summary

Husky Technologies Bolton, ON is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble, fit and install components for complex systems. You will manage assembly procedures, oversee automation tools, and participate in prototyping and new product launches.

The role emphasizes mold making experience, continuous improvement, and field-support capabilities within a world-class manufacturing setting. Qualifications include a high school diploma, a mold-making diploma preferred, and 5+ years in manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College diploma/certificate in Mold Making or Tool and Die preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience with mold refurbishment/new mold making.
• Experience in assembly and refurbishing molds is ideal.
• Knowledge of assembly tools and equipment for hydraulics/mechanics/electrical assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret design content and blueprints.
• Lift up to 35 lbs and follow Husky EH&S guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fit and install pre-fabricated parts and sub-assemblies to form completed systems.
• Determine assembly procedures for a part of a subsystem.
• Oversee self-assembly automation tools and prototyping activities.
• Lead continuous improvement in parts and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and field support as needed.
• Train team members and share knowledge across the shop floor.
