Responsibilities

  • Producing and overseeing technical design and contract documents in compliance with owner requirements, in collaboration with project teams.
  • Working with team members to validate that designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, code requirements, regulations, quality assurance, and control.
  • Providing technical design solutions for both new and renovation projects, including interior and exterior assemblies.
  • Leading the assembly of specifications for projects using the NMS format.
  • Coordinating and leading internal production teams.
  • Coordinating with project sub-consultants.
  • Providing technical mentoring and project leadership to office staff.
  • Assisting with contract administration, including site visits and collaboration with construction contractors.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in architectural and building technology from an accredited technical college.
  • 15+ years of experience as an Architectural Technologist in an architectural consulting firm.
  • Substantial product knowledge and ability to detail architectural building systems.
  • Construction site experience.
  • Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT, AutoCAD, Microsoft 365, and Bluebeam is preferred.

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $74,600 to $102,600
