The position offers part-time hours (27 per week) with shifts including days, evenings, and weekends. Strong communication, teamwork, and knowledge of pool operations are essential.

Qualifications

• Delivery of public aquatic programs and instruction.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lifeguards and instructs as required.
• Assists with organization of instructional swim programs for all ages.
• Assists with orientation and training of aquatic staff.
• Provides guidance and direction to staff.
• Ensures facility policies, procedures and regulations are implemented.
• Assists with delivery and maintenance of volunteer programs.
• Liaises with the public to maintain a positive and safe environment.
• Maintains first aid and program supply inventories.
• Coordinates and implements special events.
• Maintains routine administrative information.
• Performs routine pool water tests and records readings.
• Maintains pool chemistry as directed.
• Provides counter and phone reception as needed.
• Follows CRD policies and standards.
• Performs other related duties as required.
