Role Overview

As an Alphawave Semi Applications Engineer, you will provide 1st line technical support to customers using our IPs. Your responsibilities include supporting customer integration and silicon bring-up activities, engaging with internal R&D teams to meet customer needs, and enhancing the customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide first-line customer-facing post-sales support for Ethernet and PCIe serdes IPs.
• Coordinate with R&D and update project managers as needed.
• Offer remote and onsite silicon bring-up support globally.
• Develop and maintain APIs and ATE vectors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's or Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or Engineering Science.
• Programming skills in C/C++, scripting in Python, Tcl, Perl.
• Experience with PCIe and Ethernet SerDes specifications.
• 5+ years with lab equipment like BERT, scopes, VNA, protocol analyzers.
• Experience with lab automation tools such as Python or LabVIEW.
• Background in firmware, low-level programming, embedded C, hardware debugging.
• 3+ years using Jira, Agile/Scrum, Confluence.
• Knowledge of EDA tools and simulators.
