Job summary

SynergyLoft is seeking an experienced Power Platform professional for a remote Canada-based role. You will lead migration from Adxstudio to Power Pages, refactor data schemas in Dataverse, and integrate with external systems while mapping security roles.

The position requires 5+ years of hands-on Power Platform work and relevant certifications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform UAT, and contribute to documentation.

Duties

• Migration Strategy & Technical Discovery: Analyze legacy Adxstudio portal architecture, identify custom configurations (adx_ entities), contribute to field research, lead technical discovery, and deliver solution design artifacts.
• Data Migration & Schema Refactoring: Use Power Platform CLI (pac ppa) and Dataverse migration tools to migrate data from the standard model to the Enhanced Data Model.
• Form/List Modernization: Recreate Entity Forms, Web Forms, and Lists into modern Power Pages Multistep Forms, using AI prompt engineering to accelerate field validation scripts and optimize code.
• System Integration & Security: Maintain seamless functionality across external integrations (payment processing, authentication frameworks, SharePoint) and map legacy security roles to Dataverse Table Permissions and Web Roles.
• Testing, Deployment & Knowledge Sharing: Perform user acceptance testing (UAT), debug migration errors via AI diagnostic workflows, support launch activities, maintain technical documentation, and onboard incoming technical team members.

Mandatory Qualifications: (Minimum 5 years of ALL of the following)

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) and Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200 or AB-410), or equivalent experience, typically demonstrated through five (5) years of hands‑on experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and related Dynamics 365 applications.
• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Copilot for Liquid translation, JS generation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience developing/migrating Adxstudio Portals (v8) to Power Apps Portals & Microsoft Power Pages.
• Experience developing Adxstudio Portals (v8) and Power Apps Portals & Microsoft Power Pages.
• Experience migrating standard portal data models to Enhanced Data Model using Power Platform.
• Experience integrating Power Pages with external systems (payment processing, auth provider, SharePoint).
• Experience mapping legacy security roles to Dataverse Table Permissions and Web Roles in Power Pages.

Working Hours

• Standard Hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time, Monday through Friday excluding holidays observed by the Province
• Work must be done from within Canada, due to network and data security issues.
• It is anticipated the role will be 100% remote, however in the event of an onsite meeting, the GoA does not pay for travel to attend on‑site meetings, nor any expenses related to relocation, commuting, housing/accommodation, food/drink.

Notes on Location:

This resource will primarily work remotely; however, the resource may be required to attend meetings or work sessions in office on reasonable notice from the Province. At the time of providing such notice, the Province will advise of the expected duration of any such meetings or work sessions. However, time to travel and any associated expenses to and from Edmonton and/or travel within Alberta will be at no cost to the Province.
