Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Appium Mobile Automation Test Analyst to lead mobile automation for iOS and Android banking clients. You will design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and ensure high-quality mobile releases.

Role requires strong Java coding, hands-on Appium expertise, and collaboration with developers and QA to integrate tests into CI/CD. Hybrid work with 4 days in Toronto offices is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in IT QA with hands-on mobile automation experience.
• At least 3 years of Appium testing for iOS & Android.
• Recent 4–5 years in web and mobile testing with Selenium and Appium.
• Experience with hybrid and native mobile apps automation.
• Good grasp of Appium concepts and mobile test design.
• Experience in API testing and integrating tests into CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Appium test scripts for Android and iOS.
• Build and enhance mobile test automation frameworks using Java/Python/JS.
• Execute manual and automated tests across devices and OS versions.
• Perform cross-platform testing on various devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
• Perform API testing using Postman, RestAssured or similar.
• Identify defects and collaborate to resolve issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD with developers and QA.
