We are looking for Front-End developer who will be responsible for front-end development efforts, designing and building complex, scalable web applications using Angular, and mentoring junior developers. Candidate will also contribute to architectural decisions, performance optimization, and ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $110k – CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below)

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Develop user interfaces using the AngularJS framework
• Work closely with web developers and backend engineers
• Create high-performing, responsive, and interactive web applications
• Unit-test the code and debug the application.
• Create custom directives and components
• Experience with unit testing tools like Karma or Jasmine

Requirements:

• Strong hands on development with Single Page Applications using Angular.
• 5+ years of experience developing dynamic, highly interactive user interfaces for the web.
• Ability to manage and interface with APIs and RESTful web services.
• Experience working on web-based projects in an agency environment.
• DevOps experience such as creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments.
• Well versed in software architecture patterns.
• Good understanding of Linux and Windows servers and hosting web sites.
• Familiar with basic web technologies such as CSS, HTML, etc

Preferred, but not required:

Experience with financial services.
