Qualifications

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Angular Developer to build modular, high-performance front-end applications for our financial services clients. The Senior Angular Developer will create reusable components, integrate APIs, and turn design specifications into responsive and accessible interfaces. This role is ideal for a hands‑on developer who cares about code quality, performance, and security. Our Maritimes office is located in Moncton, New Brunswick. This role offers a flexible hybrid arrangement, with occasional in-office days as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize reusable Angular components to maintain code consistency, readability, and modularity across applications.
• Integrate RESTful APIs for seamless data flow between front-end and back-end services, using RxJS for asynchronous data handling and NgRx or similar libraries for state management.
• Implement custom UI/UX features by collaborating with designers, converting design specifications into responsive and accessible interfaces, and customizing components with Angular Material or other UI libraries.
• Optimize application performance using lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies to improve load times and user interactions.
• Apply security best practices in front-end development, including CORS, data encryption, secure token handling (OAuth2/JWT), and input validation.
• Build and deploy cross-platform applications compatible with web, iOS, and Android using a unified framework.
• Manage version control using Git, following branching strategies and code review processes to uphold code quality standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Angular development, focused on creating modular, maintainable, and reusable codebases.
• Extensive experience developing and optimizing reusable Angular components.
• Strong skills integrating RESTful APIs, using RxJS for asynchronous data handling, and managing state with NgRx or similar libraries.
• Experience with Angular Material or other UI component libraries and building responsive, accessible interfaces.
• Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and caching.
• Understanding of front-end security practices, including OAuth2/JWT token handling and input validation.
• Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and code review processes.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
