Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Senior Android Developer with deep Kotlin expertise to design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android apps. You will work with product managers, designers and backend engineers to create seamless mobile experiences.

The role requires 5+ years of Android/Kotlin experience, strong Android SDK knowledge, and hands-on work with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Jetpack Compose. You will write clean, testable code and collaborate in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Deep understanding of Android SDK and screen size handling.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience with Android UI design principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose is a plus.
• Proficiency in clean, maintainable code and testing (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and Agile development.
