Senior Anaplan Model Builder to lead the development, optimization, and maintenance of Anaplan models.

Our client is looking for a Senior Anaplan Model Builder to lead the development, optimization, and maintenance of Anaplan models.

This role will have oversight of one Anaplan developer and will be responsible for conducting code reviews, ensuring modeling best practices, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support scalable planning solutions.

Duration: 6 months to start

Location: 3 days on site - Toronto

Work Hours: 8 hours/day

Must Haves:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Anaplan modeling.
• Deep understanding of Anaplan best practices, model optimization, and workspace management.
• Experience conducting code reviews and guiding junior developers.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills—able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Solution Architect certification is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain complex Anaplan models to support business planning needs.
• Review and validate model architecture and formulas for accuracy, performance, and best practice.
• Provide mentorship and oversight to one Anaplan model developer, including code reviews and workload guidance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into sustainable Anaplan solutions.
• Own model documentation, version control, and model enhancement planning.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Anaplan across the organization.
