The Role

We're seeking an Analytics Engineer who will play a crucial role in our data transformation strategy. In this position, you'll develop the data models that serve as the foundation for our business intelligence and self-serve analytics capabilities. You'll work at the intersection of data engineering and business analysis, with a particular focus on GTM operational analytics. This role is central to our strategy of building a more data-literate organization where insights are accessible to everyone who needs them.

  • Your primary responsibility will be designing, building, and maintaining dbt models that transform raw data (especially from our GTM operational data stack) into accessible, reliable insights.
  • You'll work directly with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs, then translate those requirements into well-structured data models and intuitive dashboards that drive decision-making.
  • Develop reports and visualizations in our BI tooling (currently Looker) that provide actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Help establish and maintain data quality standards and documentation
  • Identify areas where poor data quality indicates unclear business processes and recommend improvements
  • Contribute to our growing self-serve analytics capabilities by creating reusable, well-documented data assets
  • Help upskill business users in data literacy and tool usage

What You Need to Succeed

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling concepts
  • Proficiency with software development practices, including Git, code review, and CI/CD
  • Comfort with command line interfaces (CLI) and developer workflows

Experience working with the GTM operational stack, like Salesforce and Zuora, or a similar GTM stack

  • Ability to translate business requirements into data models and analytics solutions
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

What you Bring to the Table

  • 5+ Years of experience with dbt (data build tool) or similar data transformation frameworks
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses

Experience working with the GTM operational stack

  • Knowledge of Jira or similar project tracking tools
  • Previous work in a business intelligence or analytics role
  • Experience with visualization tools and dashboard design
  • Understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts

What We Offer

We have all the usual perks and benefits but what we can really offer you is a fantastic work environment powered by an amazing team.

  • Industry competitive compensation and equity plan
  • Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Sick Leave (PSL) and 11 Paid Company Holidays
  • Full medical coverage (Extended health care, dental, vision)
  • Monthly allowance for wellness, reading and access to LinkedIn Learning for continued development
  • Events and activities both team-based and company wide that inspire, educate and cultivate

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
