The Role:

We need a data maestro who can transform raw data into business-impacting insights. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you’ll design, build, and maintain scalable data models, dashboards, and ETL/ELT pipelines—ensuring teams across Certn can make data-driven decisions. With a strong focus on data quality, governance, and stakeholder collaboration, you’ll democratize data access and maintain our high data integrity bar.

What you will be doing:

  • Data Modeling & Transformation: Architect and maintain reusable dbt models and SQL transformations that fuel self-service analytics.

  • Pipeline Development & Maintenance: Design, optimize, and monitor ETL/ELT workflows (e.g., Fivetran) for accurate, timely data availability.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to define KPIs, metrics, and ensure data alignment.

  • Data Quality & Governance: Implement robust data testing, documentation, version control, and governance best practices to ensure stakeholder trust.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Analytics Engineering Expertise: 3–5 years’ experience in analytics or data engineering, with expert-level SQL and dbt proficiency.

  • Cloud Warehouse Know-How: Hands-on experience with Databricks (or equivalent) and building data pipelines in a cloud environment.

  • BI & Dashboarding: Fluent in Looker (or similar), capable of crafting exec-level dashboards and translating data into actionable insights.

  • Stakeholder Savvy: Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, and deliver against business goals.

  • Start-Up Experience: Thrived in a high-growth SaaS environment and balanced speed with data quality and governance
