Job summary

BMO Financial Group in Toronto is seeking a Senior Analyst, Wealth Growth & Analytics to deliver data-driven insights, performance reporting, and lead-generation analytics for Wealth Management. Role Summary

The Senior Analyst, Wealth Growth & Analytics is responsible for supporting BMO Wealth Management’s growth objectives through data-driven insights, performance reporting, lead generation analytics, and business intelligence solutions. This role partners closely with Wealth business leaders, sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to monitor key performance indicators, identify growth opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations that drive client acquisition, client engagement, and revenue growth.

The successful candidate will manage end-to-end analytics processes supporting Wealth lead generation programs, performance measurement frameworks, sales effectiveness reporting, and strategic business initiatives. Leveraging advanced analytical techniques and data visualization tools, the Senior Analyst will transform complex data into meaningful insights that enable informed business decisions and contribute to measurable business outcomes.

This role requires strong business acumen, analytical expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Accountabilities
Wealth Performance Reporting & KPI Management
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions that monitor Wealth business performance across client acquisition, sales activity, referrals, lead conversion, client growth, and revenue outcomes.
  • Produce recurring executive and management reporting packages, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
  • Track and analyze key business performance indicators and emerging trends to identify opportunities and business risks.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews through insightful performance commentary and recommendations.
  • Develop automated dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and other visualization tools.
Lead Generation & Program Analytics
  • Support end-to-end analytics for Wealth lead generation and sales enablement programs.
  • Measure program effectiveness across key stages including targeting, lead generation, sales activity, conversion, and revenue outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve lead quality, sales effectiveness, and business results.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to establish success metrics and measurement frameworks for growth initiatives.
  • Evaluate program performance and provide recommendations to optimize future business strategies.
Business Insights & Strategic Analytics
  • Analyze complex client, sales, and business performance data to identify actionable insights and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support executive decision making and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations and practical actions.
  • Support business case development, opportunity sizing, and performance forecasting activities.
  • Leverage multiple internal and external data sources to provide a holistic view of business performance and client behavior.
Stakeholder Partnership & Delivery Excellence
  • Collaborate with Wealth business partners, sales leaders, marketing teams, technology teams, and data partners to understand business needs and translate requirements into analytical solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at varying levels of the organization.
  • Ensure reporting and analytics solutions align with business priorities and governance standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through process automation, enhanced reporting, and analytical innovation.
Data Management & Technical Development
  • Develop, maintain, and automate datasets and analytical processes using SAS, SQL, and Python.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources to support campaign and lead analytics.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
  • Support implementation of new data sources, reporting capabilities, and automation opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and operational standards.
  • Maintain documentation and support sustainable analytical processes.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, performance reporting, sales analytics, financial services analytics, or related field.

Experience supporting business growth, sales performance, lead generation, or client analytics initiatives.

  • Proven ability to translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience building dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support executive decision making.
  • Experience working with Salesforce and lead management processes.
  • Strong understanding of campaign measurement, client targeting, audience segmentation, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data and analytics environments is an asset.
  • Strong communication, presentation, storytelling, and business writing capabilities is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
Technical Skills
Required
  • Advanced SAS/SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard development and data visualization.
  • Experience with Python for advanced analytics and data manipulation.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, data quality, and reporting best practices.
Preferred
  • Experience working with Wealth Management, Banking, or Financial Services data.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and sales pipeline reporting.
  • Experience with cloud-based analytics environments and modern data platforms.

Salary** : **

$55,500.00 - $120,000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
