CC&L Financial Group, based in Vancouver, is seeking a Training and Documentation Senior Analyst to support onboarding, documentation maintenance, and access control within the IRG Training and Documentation Team. The role emphasizes detail orientation, teamwork, and a collaborative approach.

The position includes hybrid work with a mix of in-office and remote days, and requires 3–5 years in the finance/investment management field along with effective training experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Commerce (Finance preferred) or Economics.
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course or equivalent would be an asset.
• 3-5 years of related finance/investment management experience with operations knowledge (reconciliation, trade processing, etc.).
• Experience training and/or coaching staff is a definite asset.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new employees across offices and provide application overviews.
• Maintain staff onboarding checklist and coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and internal moves.
• Maintain the IRG’s documentation model and help determine processes to document.
• Coordinate and maintain user access and perform annual reviews for custodian/prime broker portals.
• Provide training to new staff based on team needs and assist with audits and documentation requests.

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (“CC&LFG”) is looking for a Training and Documentation Senior Analyst to join our Vancouver-based Training and Documentation Team! The Training and Documentation team is an independent group within the Investment Resource Group (“IRG”) that performs several essential services such as hands‑on training to support successful onboarding of new staff, maintaining current IRG procedure documentation and coordinating staff movements within IRG. What You Will Do

• Onboard new employees across all offices and provide application overviews as required
• Ensure new employees have access to the appropriate software systems by completing pre-testing before they join the department
• Maintain the staff onboarding checklist and coordinate staff movements, including onboarding, offboarding, and internal moves within the department
• Maintain the IRG’s documentation model, including:
• Working with the IRG Senior Managers, Managers and Staff to determine which processes need to be documented
• Assisting the Staff with formatting, language and structure of the documents
• Creating and reviewing documentation process workflow diagrams
• Setting deadlines for completion of documentation and working with the IRG Managers and Team Leaders to ensure these deadlines are being met
• Coordinate and maintain user access and perform an annual review for custodian/prime broker portals
• Maintain and update the Certificate of Authorized Signatories list for staff changes and perform an annual review with the IRG Director and Senior Managers
• Provide training to new staff based on team and role requirements
• Support Certificate of Authorized Signatories audit requests, including gathering required documentation and coordinating responses with auditors
• Assist with IRG projects, as required

What You Bring

• Undergraduate degree in Commerce (Finance preferred) or Economics. Completion of the Canadian Securities Course or an equivalent would be an asset.
• At least 3-5 years of related experience in the finance or investment management industry, with direct experience in investment operations such as reconciliation, trade processing, corporate action, and client reporting, along with a strong understanding of various investment account types, including RRSPs, TFSAs, RRIFs, and others.
• Experience training and/or coaching staff is a definite asset, with the patience and flexibility to support individuals with varying levels of experience.
• Aptitude to understand the big picture but still be very detail-oriented.
• Proven ability to think logically, problem solve effectively, and prioritize competing tasks. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure, dealing with changes and interruptions while maintaining strict deadlines.
• Interest in learning about different aspects of the investment business.
• You have a collaborative spirit that helps you work well with others and you communicate effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Proven ability to learn new systems quickly and use them effectively and efficiently.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
