Job summary

EQ Bank in Toronto is seeking a Senior Analyst in Third Party Risk Management to support second line risk activities. You will enhance operating risk standards, tools, and reporting across the organization while working in a hybrid setup.

The role emphasizes data analytics with Power BI and Excel, stakeholder engagement, and ongoing risk monitoring. A post-secondary business education and 3+ years in risk are preferred; strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business complemented with relevant professional designation progress.
• 3+ years of risk management experience in operational risk and controls, preferably in financial services.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication to facilitate meetings and present insights.
• Organizational and time management skills to run concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding third party due diligence, compile results and draft reports.
• Maintain third party risk systems, dashboards and shared communication; ensure data quality.
• Support third party lifecycle management, monitoring plans and exit strategies.
• Track action plans from due diligence and monitoring; prepare governance meeting minutes.
• Develop risk reporting and analytics for senior management.
• Collaborate with business units to support third party risk obligations.
• Contribute to risk guidelines, manuals and tools maintenance.
