Job summary

FCC in Toronto, Canada seeks a Project Finance Senior Analyst to support origination, underwriting, execution and management of complex project finance transactions focused on agri-food processing and related assets.

You will lead financial modelling, perform due diligence, assess risks, and prepare underwriting materials while coordinating with internal and external teams. The role requires strong communication and portfolio oversight in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or a related field.
• Seven+ years in project/infrastructure/structured finance or related fields.
• Extensive knowledge of project finance, credit analysis and capital structure.
• Proven expertise in financial modelling and underwriting analysis.
• Strong written communication and portfolio management skills.
• Ability to assess project risks and support transaction decisions.

How you'll make an impact

Leverage your expertise in project finance, financial modelling, credit analysis and due diligence to support the origination, underwriting, execution and management of complex project finance transactions focused primarily on Canadian agri-food processing, manufacturing and production assets.

As a Project Finance, Senior Analyst, you'll work closely with internal teams and external advisors to assess project finance opportunities that support FCC’s strategic priorities in Canadian agriculture and food. You'll provide analytical leadership throughout the transaction lifecycle, from initial evaluation to portfolio management. Your strong financial modelling and project finance analysis capabilities will enable you to prepare underwriting analyses, support transaction structuring and execution, and monitor ongoing portfolio performance.

Required qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or a related field
• Minimum seven years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, structured finance, commercial banking, private credit, corporate finance or investment banking (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Extensive knowledge of project finance, credit analysis, due diligence and capital structure analysis
• Proven expertise in financial modelling and underwriting analysis
• Demonstrated proficiency in written communication and portfolio management
• Strong capability to assess project risks and support transaction decision-making

Preferred qualifications

• An MBA, CFA designation or similar professional designation
