Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform post-trade activities and life cycle events for private placements, fund units, and other illiquid assets.
• Collaborate with investment operations team members to solve complex problems.
• Coordinate operational stages of private placement acquisitions among trading desks, portfolio managers, external lawyers, trustees, borrowers, and the private placement team.
• Support internal private placement managers through requests and follow-ups.
• Maintain data quality in systems.
• Answer custodian questions regarding daily operations.
• Review priorities and ensure operational deadlines are met.
• Participate in implementing standardized monitoring processes and controls.
• Optimize and scale oversight and reporting processes and tools.
• Interpret fund-level legal terms, definitions, and entity structures.
• Implement best practices, policies, procedures, controls, and reporting improvements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards affecting client reporting.
• Liaise with teams on financial reporting, accounting policies, and financial reporting impacts.
• Liaise with and manage third-party service providers and fund administrators.
