This hybrid role involves research, providing policy advice, and collaborating with stakeholders to promote effective public policy. We are a stable and secure association with a small, close-knit team. This position is hybrid, with an expectation to attend the Ottawa office at least 2 days a week.
Reporting to the Director of Policy, the Senior Analyst, Policy serves the life and health insurance industry’s interests by optimizing the policy, legislative and regulatory environment related to distribution and marketplace regulation. The Senior Analyst, Policy provides public policy analysis and advice on a wide range of economic and policy issues affecting the industry, in support of the industry’s collective interests. The role works collaboratively with CLHIA staff, member companies, and stakeholders to support public policy and government relations initiatives.
