Overview

Senior Analyst, People & Culture Systems requires proven experience in a complex, high-volume environment, preferably in the professional services industry.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain organization foundational data in Workday, including department and location data, position management, compensation administration data, performance management data, etc.
  • Act as a subject matter expert by regularly leveraging Workday Community to find solutions and improvements in current and upcoming areas of the Human Capital Management (HCM) module.
  • Develop and maintain a range of Workday reports (simple to complex), including matrix and composite reports using Workday Report Writer and Report Designer.
  • Configure Workday business processes (including notifications, conditional rules, related documents, etc.) and identify opportunities for enhancement and simplification that align with Workday’s methodology.
  • Maintain & design People Analytics Dashboards in PowerBI and / or Workday, dependent on stakeholder requirements or business needs.
  • Ensure data integrity within Workday and downstream systems through audit processes and analyses.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture and Data Analytics teams to determine best methods, tools, and techniques for data collection and analysis.
  • Support system upgrades, new HRIS releases, testing, validation, and overall performance analysis.
  • Provide support in the creation and update of training and process documentation for changes to HRIS procedures.
  • Monitor the HRIS mailbox, respond to internal and external customers promptly, resolve issues in a timely manner, and identify opportunities for greater automation while maintaining strong service to employees and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems / Human Resources or related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in HRIS management, including at least 2 years of functional / technical Workday HCM module experience for employee data maintenance.
  • Advanced Excel experience with large data sets (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain simple to complex Workday reports, including matrix and composite reports, using Workday Report Writer and Report Designer.
  • Advanced experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI or Workday Discover Boards.
  • Strong understanding of People and Culture (HR) functional areas in relation to HRIS.
  • Experience troubleshooting end-user and systems interface issues in a mid- to large-sized organization.
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and strong follow-through on duties.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to collaborate in a hybrid team environment.
  • Strong time management, project planning, and verbal / written communication skills.
  • Professional services industry and a Centre of Excellence environment is preferred.
