About The Role

Dentsu Canada is looking to add a Senior Analyst, Media Effectiveness to support our evolving team. The ideal candidate will have experience in media analytics, either at an agency, corporate, or media vendor level. Familiarity with digital media concepts across Search, Social, Video, and Display is a plus. We value a willingness to learn, clear communication skills, and out-of-the-box thinking. A strong background in media measurement, attribution, data visualization, automation, and client presentation skills is essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Analysis & Reporting
    • Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions across paid media platforms, websites, and internal data
    • Extract, transform, and analyze consumer and marketing data to inform recommendations
    • Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate media performance
    • Link marketing data to site and business actions
  2. Platform Expertise
    • Maintain knowledge of major paid media platforms, data structures, and reporting features
    • Experience with analytics tools like GA4, Adobe Analytics for customer journey analysis
    • Stay updated with platform changes and best practices
  3. Technical Implementation
    • Build and maintain data pipelines for ad data processing
    • Implement tracking solutions and ensure data collection accuracy
    • Develop scripts and tools to automate tasks and improve reporting
    • Configure integrations for unified reporting across channels

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R for data analysis
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Hands-on experience with paid media platform APIs (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI, Python libraries)
  • Experience with ETL and data pipelines
  • Problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy
  • 2-3 years in digital analytics, preferably in an agency setting

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with data cleanroom environments (Amazon Marketing Cloud, Google Ads Data Hub, LiveRamp)
  • Knowledge of tag management systems (Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch)
  • Cross-channel attribution and multi-touch analysis experience
  • Experience with identity resolution and audience management
  • Experience with A/B testing and experiment design
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • Understanding of privacy-compliant data collection in cookieless environments
