Position: Senior Research Analyst

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data & Intelligence, this role focuses on providing insights and consultative support to our account teams to drive business results. The ideal candidate has experience with statistical methods, a passion for understanding their impact on human behavior, excellent organizational skills, strong design abilities in PowerPoint or dashboards, and adaptability to new conditions and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily account activities to help clients meet research objectives.
  • Translate data into clear analysis, insights, and actionable recommendations, communicated through engaging PowerPoint presentations or dashboards.
  • Oversee research initiatives, including study implementation and responding to ad-hoc requests.
  • Support media monitoring and social listening as needed.
  • Leverage data insights in collaboration with clients and account teams.
  • Participate in client presentations and new business pitches related to measurement, landscape analysis, campaign analysis, content optimization, social and web analytics, and media monitoring.
  • Ensure outgoing reports meet quality standards.
  • Assist senior staff with project operations, including status updates, proposal development, resource planning, etc.
  • Stay informed about client industries, technologies, products, and competitors.
  • Serve as a role model and team player, supporting junior team members.
  • Maintain strong internal and external relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in data, analytics, or research, preferably from a communications agency or research house.
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems, and develop narratives from data insights.
  • Experience developing research and measurement frameworks.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Meltwater, comScore, SimilarWeb, GWI, Pathmatics, Statista, or Semrush.
  • Understanding of data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Strong PowerPoint design skills to craft visually engaging stories from quantitative data.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strategic, creative, self-starting, and able to manage multiple projects.
