A leading financial services provider seeks to hire professionals for its Investment Risk Oversight team in Montreal. The role involves managing risk data, enhancing reporting capabilities, and utilizing AI tools to optimize workflows and data integrity. Candidates should possess a degree in finance or related fields, coupled with at least 3 years of relevant experience in investment risk management.
We are seeking skilled professionals to join the Investment Risk Oversight (IRO) team within the Global Wealth & Asset Management (GWAM) segment. The IRO is part of the 'second line' risk function, reporting to the Chief Risk Officer of the GWAM segment. In this role, you will collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to enable independent oversight of investment risks managed or manufactured within Manulife’s GWAM segment.
Key responsibilities include transforming extensive risk datasets to improve risk reporting capabilities and crafting risk narratives that meet both global and regional needs. Additionally, you will develop and optimize risk data infrastructure and processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and seamless integration. The role is well-suited for early-career professionals with a strong interest in artificial intelligence (AI), demonstrated curiosity for experimenting with AI models, and a desire to learn and develop AI-enabled workflows on the job.
