Our Fund Management Team is expanding, and we are looking for a talented, growth-mindset individual whose interest and skills are aligned with our teams’ purpose on delivering high-quality, accurate and comprehensive fund management and oversight

What You Will Do

As a Senior Analyst, Fund Reporting, you will manage critical fund reporting functions, including overseeing financial statement preparations, developing management reports of fund performances (MRFPs), and assisting in tax compliance and regulatory matters. The role requires strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, problem-solving and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fund Financial Statements : Work collaboratively with fund administrators and auditors in the timely and accurate review and preparation of fund financials
  • Fund Analysis : Calculate and quantify market risks impacting the funds to be disclosed in financial statements, provide analysis on foreign tax exposures
  • Fund Reporting : Prepare and file Management Reports of Fund Performance (MRFPs), coordinate with internal teams (operations and investment) and external teams (fund administrators, auditors) on an annual and interim basis
  • Tax Compliance and Regulatory Oversight : Calculate tax attribution rates, prepare annual tax returns and file tax elections, while staying current with new requirements
  • Continuous Improvement : Contribute to the team’s commitment of building a continuous improvement culture through use of technology, automation and streamlined processes

What You Bring

  • CPA designation with approximately 5 years of related experience in the financial services sector, preferably in an international environment
  • Familiarity with

IFRS and US GAAP as it pertains to investment funds

  • Tax regulations for Canadian trusts as it pertains to investment funds
  • National Instrument 81-106 (including 81-106F1 and 81-106CP)
  • CRA HST / GST / QST regulations for Selected Listed Financial Institutions
  • US Partnership tax returns and schedules
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of identifying and solving complex financial and operational problems
  • Ability to think critically, analyze situations, and develop creative solutions focused on efficiency and improving existing processes
  • Highly organized with an ability to multitask while being able to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated, high degree of ownership and responsibility, able to work independently and manage a team

The starting salary for this position is $85,000. The starting salary provided reflects the base salary for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
