Job description

The Manulife Fund Events team is seeking a Senior Analyst to support the GWAM Canada business. In this role, the senior analyst will provide expertise and operational support to ensure successful implementation of the firm’s various initiatives. This entails gathering, analyzing, and interpreting a variety of data. The day-to-day will involve interacting with various business areas to understand the risk, financial and accounting impacts of business processes to best support our stakeholders. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn, develop and excel within a team that values client satisfaction, performance, collaboration, and innovation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide support to managers with impact analysis and implementation phase of assigned projects

  • Identify operational or other business risks associated with initiative implementation and communicate them to leadership

  • Act as main resource in analyzing and responding to inquiries

  • Coordinate project related tasks and activities with internal and external teams

  • Interact with stakeholders to understand scope, requirement, and impact of requests

  • Liaise and communicate project requirements to custodian and valuation agent

  • Complete and compile key monthly metrics, provide internal partners, leaders and team members with required reporting

  • Participate in process improvement type projects by providing information useful for decision-making and by formulating recommendations

  • Understand the risk, financial and accounting impacts of business processes

  • Monitor activities and ensure compliance with established policies, standards and procedures

Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in accounting or finance

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite

Salary range is expected to be between

$69,750.00 CAD - $116,250.00 CAD
