Your area of focus

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) acts as a financial advisor and trusted business partner to support decision-making throughout AutoCanada. The FP&A Senior Analyst will be key in financial analysis, business planning, and internal reporting. We seek a curious, diligent, and driven problem-solver with a proactive attitude, eager to develop alongside our growing FP&A team.

What drives your day-to-day?

  • Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure timely delivery to the Executive team and stakeholders.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the company’s financial performance against management and industry KPIs and budgets.
  • Utilize financial knowledge and business acumen to evaluate capital investment decisions and synthesize findings into clear recommendations.
  • Contribute to performance analysis and prepare board materials.
  • Identify process and cost optimization opportunities across the business.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and cross-functional projects.

What Are The Must Haves…

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related analytical roles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a SharePoint environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
