Department : Finance – FP&A

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A who thrives at the intersection of strategy, detail, and collaboration. The most critical aspect of this role is the ability to interface across Accounting, Commercial Finance, Operations Finance, and Technology teams to pull together a comprehensive outlook across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.

This role includes ownership of OPEX management, ensuring spend is well understood, forecasted accurately, and aligned to strategic objectives. You will also drive clarity on key assumptions in budgets and forecasts so that variance analysis leads to meaningful root cause insights and actionable recommendations.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys building the full financial picture, driving clarity in assumptions, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Three-Statement Integration: Consolidate inputs from Accounting, Commercial Finance, Operations Finance, and Technology to deliver a complete outlook across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • OPEX Management: Own OPEX analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment to strategic goals.
  • Clarity in Assumptions: Provide transparency on key assumptions in budgets and forecasts to enable effective variance analysis and root cause identification.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to manage the end-to-end process, ensuring timely and reliable forecasts.
  • Cash Flow & Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyze trends and cash flow drivers to highlight risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Scenario & Ad Hoc Analysis: Build financial models and perform “what if” scenario analysis to support decisions in a dynamic business environment.
  • KPI Development: Collaborate with other finance teams to monitor, and report on key identified financial and operational KPIs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the connective tissue between finance and business functions, including interaction with senior leaders.
  • Tools & Systems Partnership: Collaborate with the Data & AI team to leverage Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) and D365 for efficient reporting and smarter insights.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA a strong asset).
  • 4+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience.
  • Strong financial modelling skills, with experience in integrating and analyzing across all three financial statements.
  • Proven expertise in OPEX management, variance analysis, root cause identification, trend analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with D365 and Power BI preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
