Job description

We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Forensic team in our Sydney office.

Our Forensic team operates in dynamic business and regulatory environments. We collaborate with organizations to prevent and respond to allegations of misconduct, fraud, financial crime, and handle commercial disputes and potential litigation.

What you will do
  1. Support the delivery of forensic and advisory assignments, focusing on financial investigations.
  2. Analyze financial statements and accounting data, including reconciliation with other sources.
  3. Investigate anomalous transactions, events, and behaviors through evidence analysis, electronic data, and interviews.
  4. Document transactions, fund flows, and relationships between entities and individuals.
  5. Build financial models to support calculations and forecasts, considering various variables.
  6. Prepare forensic accounting reports, including independent expert and investigation reports.
  7. Enhance client relationships through excellent service.
Who you are
  1. Degree qualified, with progress toward or interest in completing Chartered Accountant qualification (or equivalent).
  2. Experience in accounting, internal audit, risk, compliance, enforcement, or similar forensic roles, preferably in a professional services setting.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  4. Strong business and commercial acumen.
  5. Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and tact.
