Job summary

IMAX Corporation in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting to support monthly and quarterly consolidated results, close processes, and SEC reporting compliance for a global group of entities.

You will work under the Financial Reporting team, handling ASC 606 revenue recognition for IMAX Systems, prepare reconciliations, analyze variances, and contribute to process improvements and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA designation or in progress.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 or IFRS 15.
• 5–7 years of public accounting and/or financial reporting experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly consolidated financial results and internal management reporting packages.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy of information.
• Assist with accounting analyses related to revenue recognition for IMAX Systems under ASC 606.
