Walmart Canada is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Merchandise Finance, to lead monthly reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis across Merchandise units in Mississauga. You will identify risks and opportunities, support cross‑functional initiatives, and provide clear insights to finance and business leaders.

You will use Excel, Tableau, SAP, MFP, and AI‑enabled tools to automate processes, strengthen controls, and drive better investment decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead annual budgets, forecasts, and long‑range plans aligned with market dynamics and investments.
• Manage weekly and monthly forecasting and business review cycles, providing clear performance narratives and accountability for P&L delivery.
• Analyze trends, KPIs, risks, and opportunities; recommend actions and contingencies to achieve financial targets.
• Prepare and present concise management reporting on financial and operational performance by channel.
• Ensure timely, accurate sales and gross profit reporting for month‑end close, forecasting, and planning activities.
• Partner with Controllership, Digital Finance, and other teams to maintain data integrity, effective controls, and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Develop business cases for strategic initiatives, assess capital and operating investments, and communicate recommendations to Finance and business leaders.
• Identify and implement process, system, and reporting improvements across Finance and partner functions.
• Use Excel, Tableau, SAP, MFP, and AI‑enabled tools to analyze data, automate processes, and enhance reporting.
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships and provide financial guidance that supports informed decision‑making.

The pay range for this position is $74,000.00 - $101,750.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
