Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly in Montreal, QC, is seeking a security-focused engineer to design and harden multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure) via IaC, CI/CD guardrails, and secure config practices. You will mentor teams and drive security-by-design across pipelines, containers, and microservices, ensuring compliance and rapid incident response.

The role requires strong hands-on cloud security expertise, Terraform, Helm, YAML, Python or Bash scripting, and a proven track record in large-scale

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or equivalent IT/business degree.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud security, DevSecOps, or related roles.
• Proven hands-on experience with AWS and Azure security services and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve security controls and automation for multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
• Embed automated security checks, guardrails, and compliance into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Champion secure IaC, policy-as-code, and secure cloud service configurations with DevOps/SRE teams.

Our vision is clear: to deliver fast, accurate, and reliable service powered by cutting-edge technology.A Strategic Role at the Heart of LogisticKey Responsibilities· Design, implement, and continuously improve security controls and automation for multi-cloud environments across AWS and Azure.· Embed automated security checks, guardrails, and continuous compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.· Champion secure Infrastructure as Code (IaC), policy-as-code and secure cloud services configuration practices with DevOps, SRE, and cloud engineering teams.· Establish, document and maintain technical standards, reusable patterns, automation, and governance mechanisms for secure deployment practices and cloud service hardening,· Champion Secure source code, Artefact Management and Secret Management Principles· Own security posture monitoring, management and remediation of CI/CD pipeline and cloud infrastructure· Implement monitoring strategies to identify and remediate configuration drift, policy violations, and security control gaps within cloud and delivery environments.· Mentor engineering teams on cloud security practices and help drive adoption of security-by-design principles.· Contribute technical expertise to cloud security incident response readiness, planning and post-incident improvements· Provide clear cloud security reporting and actionable insights to technical and leadership teamsRequired Skills & Experience· Deep hands-on expertise with AWS and Azure security services and architecture.· Advanced proficiency with Terraform, ARM templates, HELM Chart, YAML, JSON· Hands-on security experience with implementation and support of CI/CD pipelines, secret and Image management solution and microservice communication infrastructure.· Hands on security experience with securing cloud network traffic and workloads· Hands-on security experience configuring and supporting at least 5 out of the following: Cloud Firewalls rules management, Kubernetes ,Microservices, API Gateways, Cloud Workload Protection & Cloud Posture tools, Cloud security policies (Azure, AWS), Declarative Continuous Delivery· Experience with security automation and scripting using Python, Bash or equivalent technologies.· Proven experience leading or materially contributing to security engineering and transformation initiatives in large-scale, multi-cloud environments.· Strong communication and technical leadership skills, with the ability to influence engineering and business stakeholders without direct authority.Qualifications· Degree in computer science, 5 to 10+ years of experience in IT, including 5+ years of experience in cloud security, DevSecOps, or closely related roles.· Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, GIAC, GIAC Cloud Security Automation, Kubernetes Security Specialist, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and experience.Why Join Us?At Intelcom | Dragonfly , you’ll thrive in a flexible and stimulating environment, surrounded by passionate talent.
