Purpose

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Cybersecurity Policy Analyst to support the operational and administrative aspects of our Email and Web Security program. In this role, you will assist with the analysis, documentation, and day-to-day operations of security policies that protect users from phishing, malware, and inappropriate web content. • Assist in the review and maintenance of email and web security policies under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Help analyze alerts, logs, and incidents related to email and web traffic.
• Support the documentation of policy exceptions, change requests, and incident response cases.
• Perform basic analysis of email headers, URLs, and web logs to identify suspicious activity.
• Work with ticketing systems to help process user requests, troubleshooting issues like blocked emails or websites.
• Participate in the testing and validation of new or updated policy rules in test environments.
• Help track metrics and reporting data on email/web filtering effectiveness and user activity.
• Stay informed on basic threat trends like phishing, ransomware, and malicious links.
• Provide administrative support for team meetings, audits, and control reviews.
