Senior Analyst, Control & Optimization - Process Automation

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The role involves supporting and improving advanced control systems and optimization functions within our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain advanced modelling, control, and optimization software for manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
  • Support troubleshooting and performance monitoring of automation systems.
  • Continuously enhance automation technologies and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • Experience with control systems, optimization, and programming languages such as R, MATLAB, Julia, Python, C++, C#, or Java.
  • Knowledge of mathematical optimization techniques and relational databases.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Work Environment & Hours

  • Combination of office and manufacturing environment, with safety equipment required in the plant.
  • Standard hours Monday to Friday with flexibility for extended hours as needed.
