Senior Analyst, Control & Optimization - Process Automation

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The role involves supporting and improving advanced control systems and optimization functions within our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced modelling, control, and optimization software for manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these systems with existing infrastructure.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• Support troubleshooting and performance monitoring of automation systems.
• Continuously enhance automation technologies and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.

Experience with control systems, optimization, and programming languages such as R, MATLAB, Julia, Python, C++, C#, or Java.

Knowledge of mathematical optimization techniques and relational databases.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Work Environment & Hours

Combination of office and manufacturing environment, with safety equipment required in the plant.

Standard hours Monday to Friday with flexibility for extended hours as needed.
