Senior Analyst, Conflict of Interest - Risk Management

Our Quality & Risk Management Group is seeking an analyst to join our conflicts of interest resolving team. Resolvers are responsible for identifying and mitigating potential conflicts of interest based on information provided through an internally developed application. This tool helps the firm comply with legal and regulatory independence requirements and identify conflicts of interest with proposed engagements. The Resolver will apply professional judgment, adhere to standards such as the CPA Code of Professional Conduct and the IESBA Code, manage conflicts, communicate resolutions to engagement teams, and participate in various ad-hoc projects.

What You Will Do

  • Identify potential conflicts of interest, apply professional judgment, and communicate conflict mitigation plans to engagement teams.
  • Collaborate with Partners, Managers, Professional Staff, local Risk Management, Legal Counsel, and other Resolvers as needed.
  • Respond to conflict of interest inquiries via phone or email promptly and accurately.
  • Research inquiries and assist with content and data management.
  • Highlight and escalate issues to subject matter experts for action.
  • Review, analyze, and maintain conflict reports, highlighting areas needing further attention.
  • Assist in assessing application functionality and testing updates.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and other compliance applications as required.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range

The expected salary range is $54,000 to $81,000, potentially with bonuses. Salary within this range depends on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
