Overview

Our Compliance & Risk Management Group in Business Enablement Services is looking for an Analyst, Risk Management, to join our growing team. The group helps ensure the firm and its personnel are in compliance with Professional, Regulatory, and KPMG Global policies and standards. This role focuses on monitoring compliance with standards and policies related to personal independence, including those established by the SEC, PCAOB, CPA Code of Professional Conduct, IESBA Code, and AICPA.

This is a remote position.

What You Will Do

  1. Develop understanding of applicable independence rules and internal policies through consulting with subject matter experts and reviewing policies.
  2. Conduct personal independence compliance audits and monitor adherence to standards.
  3. Assess, summarize, and escalate potential policy breaches.
  4. Respond to inquiries related to reporting investments in KICS and independence policies via help desk channels.
  5. Assist with compliance tasks and ad-hoc projects as needed.
  6. Support development of operational and project documentation.

Employees may need to work beyond normal hours to meet business needs and are supported through flexible work arrangements.

What You Bring To The Role

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in business or finance.
  • Research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret standards.
  • Strong communication skills, professional and prompt responses.
  • Experience in high-volume environments with quality and prioritization.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Handling sensitive/confidential information appropriately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Business-level English proficiency.

The salary range for this position is $54,000 to $81,000, with potential bonuses, depending on location and qualifications. KPMG offers comprehensive rewards and benefits.
