Job description

Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Senior Analyst – Campaign Execution to complete quality assurance audits to ensure the campaign design & build has been accurately interpreted to meet the business need. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in Role:

  1. Use SAS and other supporting tools to build campaigns for credit cards and everyday banking accounts/clients.
  2. Responsible for translating technical specifications into code for the timely deployment of Direct Marketing tactics through various channels.
  3. Complete quality assurance audits to ensure the campaign design & build has been accurately interpreted to meet the business need.
  4. Follow all Data Stewardship and Governance policies and processes that align with and support Canadian Banking business strategies and priorities.
  5. Ensure corporate reputation is maintained by strict adherence to privacy guidelines, ethics, data stewardship, and governance policies and processes.
  6. Highly skilled at data mining.
  7. Responsible for developing complex campaigns, integrating and leveraging learnings from past and post-campaign results.
  8. Demonstrate leadership in process improvement and coding efficiency.
  9. Identify and implement new methods or processes to shorten the marketing cycle or reduce costs.
  10. Ensure that all CRM concepts (including predictive models) and CIDM standard methodologies and best practices are implemented in daily routines by self and team.
  11. Act as peer coach and share best practices with the team.
  12. Act as Subject Matter Expert on relevant data sources, channels, and CIDM standards.
  13. Train and mentor new team members as needed.
  14. Proficiency in SAS and SQL is required.

Must-Have Skills:

  1. 4-5+ years of specialized expertise in relational database marketing and structured programming concepts, including data analytic and decisioning tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, Aprimo Teradata).
  2. 4-5+ years experience in applying experimental design.
  3. Strong analytical mindset.
  4. Ability to build strong lateral relationships through influence.
  5. Strong project management and implementation skills, including time management.
  6. Strong problem resolution and decision-making skills.
  7. Excellent written and oral communication skills for developing and conveying insights.
  8. Ability to work steadily and accurately under pressure, especially during peak periods.
  9. Attention to detail and effective time management.
  10. Strong experience in the financial services industry, including understanding of marketing (asset).
  11. Some facilitation and coaching skills.
  12. Some strategic mindset.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Python and data lake experience.
