The Senior Analyst, Business Processes, Controls and Compliance will oversee the Market Risk compliance program as a 2b function. As part of the Market Risk Governance team in the second line of defense, the Senior Analyst will maintain the Market Risk PRC, manage the regulatory inventory, and critically assess the unit's internal controls. The individual will collaborate with stakeholders within the 1st and 2nd lines of defense.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with Market Risk functions and acting as a trusted advisor with internal/external stakeholders.
  2. Executing Monitoring and Testing (M&T), communicating outcomes, preparing reports, and recommending actions for issues identified.
  3. Reviewing processes and proposing risk mitigation controls.
  4. Developing and maintaining the M&T plan and regulatory inventory.
  5. Maintaining Market Risk Processes, Risks, and Controls documentation.
  6. Supporting regulatory audits and examinations.
  7. Preparing presentations for forums and committees.
  8. Participating in oversight activities, policy reviews, and updates.
  9. Assisting with quarterly attestations (CRO and SOX).
  10. Maintaining knowledge of business, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
  11. Applying judgment to identify and solve problems.
  12. Working independently on non-routine issues.
  13. Providing guidance to the 2a Market Risk function on governance topics.
  14. Additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications include:

  1. 4-6 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  2. Experience in risk management, audit, compliance, governance preferred.
  3. Knowledge of business and regulatory environments.
  4. Experience with risk policy frameworks like SOX 404, COBIT, COSO.
  5. Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and influence skills.
  6. Data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Salary: $60,000 - $111,700

Pay Type: Salaried
