We are seeking an experienced valuation professional to join the dynamic Investment Support team at iA Global Asset Management (iAGAM), a subsidiary of iA Financial Group. The candidate will be responsible for a portion of the asset valuation activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulatory standards, and timely execution.

You will collaborate closely with real and private asset managers, as well as various internal and external partners and suppliers involved in valuation processes. Initially, reporting will be to the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (Investment), with future reporting to the Head of Valuation on the COO team, who reports to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform daily investment valuation activities in accordance with established procedures.
  2. Serve as a resource for valuation-related inquiries.
  3. Value financial assets, including private investments, derivatives, and other non-public market products.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies, and market best practices.
  5. Collaborate with portfolio management teams to analyze and recommend asset valuations.
  6. Develop, enhance, and implement valuation methodologies.
  7. Supervise valuation activities of administrative partners.
  8. Develop automated controls for all financial asset valuations.
  9. Prepare valuation summary reports across asset classes.
  10. Coordinate quarterly valuation committee activities.

Desired Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in financial engineering, finance, business administration, or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of direct experience in investment-related roles with extensive investment knowledge.
  • CFA, FRM, or similar certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong accountability and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in French is a significant asset.
  • Demonstrates agility, discipline, and proactivity.
  • Ability to responsibly analyze and handle data.
