Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join the finance team. This role is critical in supporting financial reporting, analytics, and business process improvement across a portfolio of companies. The successful candidate will work closely with operational controllers and management teams to provide meaningful insights, enhance processes, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly operational and internal financial reports.
• Develop and maintain analytics packages to support review engagements and audits.
• Assist with ERP implementation and other corporate projects, including acquisitions.
• Perform monthly parent company accounting and reconciliations.
• Partner with operational controllers and management to identify problematic business processes, investigate root causes, and redesign / implement effective solutions.
• Provide qualitative analysis to support and complement quantitative findings.
• Support audit and assurance processes as needed (audit / assurance background beneficial but not required).

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation or progress toward designation considered an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, corporate accounting, or business process improvement.
• Advanced Excel skills, including strong knowledge of Power Query, are required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and management.
• Experience with ERP systems and involvement in system implementation projects is an asset.
