Qualifications

What You’ll Do:
  • As a Senior Analyst you will transform customer and financial data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision‑making and profitable growth.
  • This role combines traditional analytics with strong financial acumen, with a focus on forecasting, performance measurement, and business impact analysis.
  • You will partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact insights, build robust financial and analytical models, and provide a clear understanding of key business drivers.
  • Success in this role means delivering accurate, forward‑looking insights that influence strategy, improve performance, and enhance customer and portfolio outcomes.
  • Analyze customer, operational, and financial data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities across the business.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models for enterprise KPIs to support strategic planning and performance tracking.
  • Deliver performance analytics and insights for key strategic initiatives, including loyalty programs and portfolio performance.
  • Monitor key business and financial KPIs, identifying drivers of variance and communicating implications to stakeholders.
  • Reconcile and align data across sources to ensure consistency with financial reporting and business metrics.
  • Apply statistical and analytical techniques to enhance insights.
  • Develop compelling presentations and leverage strong storytelling to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence decision‑making.
  • Partner with business, finance, and data teams to support strategic initiatives.
  • Provide proactive analysis on areas impacted by economic, market, and customer behavior trends.
  • Manage project timelines and stakeholder communication.
What You Bring:
  • University Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative discipline
  • 3–5+ years of experience in analytics, financial modelling, or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of forecasting and performance measurement
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL
  • Advanced knowledge of data and analytical software (SAS, Python or R) considered an asset
  • Experience in building financial models and understanding key financial drivers
  • Expertise in data visualization and BI tools, preferably Power BI
  • Understanding of customer analytics and statistical modelling techniques
  • Strong analytical mindset and intellectual curiosity, with a proactive approach to exploring data, asking the right questions, and connecting insights to business and financial outcomes
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment
  • Interest in emerging technologies and advanced analytics
  • Experience in retail, financial services, or loyalty analytics is an asset

Salary Range:

$64,000 – $106,000 CAD. Our typical hiring range is between $64,000 and $85,000 CAD. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role‑specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
