Senior Analyst

Aon is looking for a Senior Analyst, Client Information Management - Health Solutions Practice (anywhere in Canada).

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering outstanding service and support within our Health Solutions business group at Aon.

What the day will look like

  1. Review contracts, amendments, and financial agreements related to plan changes, carrier changes, or new client onboarding;
  2. Support and maintain data collection and accuracy in Aon’s proprietary client information platform;
  3. Review, audit, and maintain client plan information;
  4. Create, compare, and review plan summaries working with client teams;
  5. Create and review plan prevalence benchmarking reports;
  6. Assist with ad-hoc client service questions, working with carriers and other business units to resolve issues and support clients;
  7. Draft reports and correspondence;
  8. Build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, client teams, and carriers;
  9. Identify ways to improve standardized processes to add value to client deliverables;
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the group benefits industry, systems, products, trends, and emerging technology, understanding how this relates to increasing value to clients;
  11. Participate in team projects and activities that drive innovation, improved client value, and business results.

How this opportunity is different

As a Senior Analyst supporting our Client Information Management team, you will service clients regarding plan design, contract management, and benchmarking. You will work with senior team members on various deliverables such as contract reviews, plan design summaries, and prevalence benchmarking, addressing ad hoc client questions related to plan design, carriers, and programs.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in group insurance is considered an asset;
  • Strong organizational, collaboration, and detail-oriented skills;
  • Bi-lingual (English, French) abilities are an asset;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written);
  • Highly motivated, accountable, customer service and team-oriented;
  • Self-starter with curiosity, interested in continuous learning and thinking outside the box;
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, able to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects;
  • Team player with the ability to self-manage;
  • Ability to ask key questions, seek guidance when needed, and understand how your work contributes to the success of Aon’s Health Solutions practice;
  • Candidates without industry experience but with the required education and skills will also be considered.

Education

  • University or college graduate in Financial Services or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience;
  • Commitment to professional development.
