Job summary

Bombardier seeks an experienced aerospace structural design engineer to join the team in Dorval. You will contribute to airframe primary and secondary structures, perform installations, and drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering and suppliers.

You should bring 10+ years of design experience, strong leadership, and proficiency in CATIA V5, ENOVIA, and MS Office, with bilingual English/French communication. A CATIA V4 knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in airframe structural design (primary and secondary), including systems installations.
• Proficient with CATIA V5, ENOVIA, and Microsoft Office; knowledge of CATIA V4 is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, methods, suppliers) to implement solutions and change processes.
• Prepare 4-blocker reports for management reviews and decision-making.
• Interface with suppliers to communicate and coordinate required changes.
• Prepare engineering-related 3D & 2D drawings and install data sets.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.

Education

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering
