Job summary

Affirm is seeking a seasoned security engineer to own and refine our enterprise AI security review process. You will evaluate architecture, data flows, and guardrails for AI features across internal tools, embedding security in design choices.

You will lead threat modeling of AI/LLM systems, review MCP server definitions, and help owners build security-focused test cases and detections before launch.

Qualifications

• Seasoned security engineer with hands-on AI/LLM security experience.
• Experience threat modeling AI/LLM apps and secure tool-call flows.
• Knowledge of enterprise security controls, IAM, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve affirm's AI security review process for enterprise systems.
• Threat model data flows, prompt handling, and tool-permission boundaries.
• Review code, prompts, MCP definitions, and test scenarios for security.
• Design guardrails, policy-as-code, and cloud security automations.
