Job summary

National Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior AI Scientist to join the AI Factory team. You will evaluate, optimise and monitor AI models, including generative models, and directly contribute to the quality and impact of AI solutions deployed at the Bank.

You’ll fine-tune models, design prompts, implement monitoring and collaborate with analysts and developers to integrate models into Bank solutions, using Terraform and AWS for deployment. Hybrid work and ongoing learning are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, artificial intelligence or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science or AI model development.
• Proficiency in Python and AI libraries.
• Experience with Terraform and cloud environments, including AWS.
• Experience implementing AI solutions.
• Experience with model evaluation tools such as DeepEval.

Responsibilities

Prerequisites:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, artificial intelligence or a related field.
