Job summary

NVIDIA in Canada is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build NeMo Platform, NVIDIA’s product for developing, evaluating, deploying, and operating AI systems at scale. You will join the Core team which owns an open source plugin-based AI platform for running and optimizing Agents targeting multiple compute backends (local/docker, Kubernetes, Slurm, etc.).

The role demands architectural leadership with deep distributed-systems experience, strong Python skills, and cloud-native know-how.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
• Exceptional communication and strong system design skills for production infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural reviews and mentor engineers across cross-functional teams.
• Design and maintain Core Platform APIs for jobs, data, entities, and RBAC.
• Extend the plugin architecture to enable external teams and customers.
• Improve reliability, observability, debugging, and performance in NeMo Platform.
