Job summary

Workday, Inc. is seeking an AI Engineer in Agent Factory to design and build core ML systems behind Workday’s next generation of AI agents.

You’ll work in a senior cross-functional pod to productionize models, agent logic, and orchestration layers across the lifecycle from data strategy to deployment and monitoring. You’ll evolve frameworks for LLM-powered agents, including RAG pipelines and workflow orchestration, ensuring scalable, observable, enterprise-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building applied ML products at scale, from design to production.
• 3+ years of ML/DL frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• 4+ years deploying ML models in production-scale services.
• 2+ years working with large language models (LLMs) or related architectures.
• 4+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Proven track record leading ML engineering teams and sprint planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, physics, math, or equivalent.
