Job summary

Citco is seeking a senior AI Engineer to lead design and delivery of advanced AI-powered solutions for financial services. You will guide architecture choices, mentor engineers, and work with business stakeholders to translate complex challenges into scalable AI systems.

The role requires expertise in ML, NLP, distributed systems, and cloud platforms, with a strong focus on secure production-ready implementations and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 6-8 years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years designing and deploying AI/ML or Generative AI solutions in production.
• Experience with AI/ML systems including solution architecture, deployment and operational support.
• Strong knowledge of ML libraries and AI tooling, including model evaluation and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable AI architectures with foundation-model integration and retrieval workflows.
• Lead design and delivery of AI and ML capabilities across services.
• Mentor engineers and establish implementation patterns for secure, observable AI solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.
• Define evaluation strategies for accuracy, safety, latency and reliability.
