We’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer to lead the development of Feathery’s document intelligence system, which lies at the core of our AI-powered platform. This product powers the extraction, understanding, and transformation of complex documents (like insurance forms, statements, and financial disclosures) into structured, actionable data—accurately, reliably, and at scale.

About the Role

As a Senior AI Engineer, your primary focus will be evolving and scaling our document intelligence capabilities. You’ll work on everything from entity extraction and document classification to table understanding and layout-aware parsing. You’ll integrate the latest advancements in AI—including LLMs and OCR models—while ensuring your solutions are robust, fast, and production-ready.

You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to ship solutions that solve real pain points for top-tier financial institutions. Your work will directly influence how quickly and accurately our customers can process critical documentation.

• You have experience building and deploying LLM pipelines in production.

What You’ll Do

Lead the design and improvement of Feathery’s document intelligence product.

Leverage state-of-the-art models (including LLMs and OCR models) to extract structured data from diverse document types.

Fine-tune model prompting for tasks like classification, information extraction, signature / block detection, and table parsing.

Collaborate cross-functionally to define product requirements and integrate AI features into the platform.

Stay on top of the latest LLM innovations and bring those insights into Feathery’s product.

Mentor other engineers and help shape the future of Feathery’s AI function and technical culture.
