Job summary

Safran Landing Systems in Toronto is seeking a Senior Program Purchasing Lead to drive cross-functional purchasing activities across Build-to-Print/Build-to-Spec programs. You will lead IPT purchasing, align strategies with Production, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain, and represent purchasing in governance meetings.

Qualifications

• Typically, 7+ years of progressive experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Program Management, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex development or industrial programs and coordinating cross-functional or transversal teams without direct authority.
• Working knowledge of APQP, DVI/PPAP, AS9100, risk management, change control, export control, and applicable customer or regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, financial, and project management skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear priorities and executive summaries.
• Fluent in English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior Purchasing focal point within the Integrated Program Team (IPT) for a program or program family (BTP, BTS, systems, equipment, services).
• Provide cross-functional leadership, coordination, and guidance to Program Purchasing team members; establish priorities and allocate activities.
• Ensure Program, Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Purchasing strategies are aligned and communicated to stakeholders.
• Represent Program Purchasing in governance meetings, executive reviews, escalations, supplier reviews with decision-ready information.
• Coordinate with Purchasing Site Leaders, Commodity Managers, Commodity Buyers, and Industrialization Leads to ensure timely deliverables.
