Job summary

Safran Landing Systems in Mirabel, QC, seeks a seasoned operations leader to supervise finishing and production teams within a unionized manufacturing environment. The role focuses on delivering production plans, optimizing resources, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with quality, maintenance, HR and suppliers while mentoring staff and driving continuous improvement across the plant. Proficiency in French and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree or experience.
• Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Fluent communication in French and English to interact across Safran sites.

Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks and decisions to the team to foster commitment and autonomy.
• Guide and assist the team in problem solving and decision making.
• Ensure execution of the production plan to meet deliveries.
• Identify and address issues with maintenance, quality, HR, etc.
• Manage workforce movements and optimize resource utilization.
